Once a vehicle is bought from its previous owner, its ownership has to be transferred in the name of the current owner within 14 days in the concerned RTO where the vehicle is registered.

Transferring the ownership of vehicle is responsibility of both new and old owner of the vehicle.

New Owner's Address Proofs: Light Bill, PMC Tax Receipt, Index 2 (Any One of These) Voter's ID, Aadhar Card, Passport, L.I.C. Policy (Any One of These)	Photocopy

Please Note

Vehicle Owner Will Have to Come to RTO for a Signature Before the RTO Authority. (Only in Case of Loss of Registration Certificate)
